the best breakfast

We've got plenty of fruit on the vines but the tomatoes have been slow to ripen up this year. I have, however picked my first Brandywine and just ate it as a breakfast sandwich. It was incredible.

A note to my mother: Yes I know white bread is only for special occasions like the first tomato sandwich of the year.
