planet earth oil production update

I try to stay away from constantly checking on the status of global oil production. It's a bummer and there are plenty of other things to do in anticipation of energy decent. Lately I'm roughing out several ideas that fall under the category of Reasonable Responses to Consumer Culture. I've started several fires. Now I just need to add fuel.

I couldn't help myself though after being away from the keyboard for an extended weekend. So while I bang out several of the notions bouncing around in my head here's the global production picture from the EIA compliments of The Oil Drum.
